Trailblazers is a project to promote women in the history of Greater Manchester whose influence has been overlooked or forgotten.
The primary concept came from recreating the look of a 'blue plaque' that could be flyposted as a way to highlight the fact that only a small percentage of the historical markers celebrate the achievements of women.
The guerrilla nature of the concept led to the punk aesthetic, with vibrant visuals to catch the eye online and in promotion of local events.
